A Florida marital settlement agreement (also called divorce settlement agreement Florida or marriage settlement agreement Florida) is a written contract that resolves all financial and child-related issues when a couple divorces or legally separates. Florida courts require this document in virtually every uncontested dissolution of marriage (Florida Statute § 61.079 and § 61.13).
